On Christmas day at around 7:30 AM my Mom passed away.
It was sudden and unexpected. Both my Dad and I are in a total state of shock and disbelief.
Mary Felson was the best Mom anyone could ever ask for. She was kind and wise and a joy to be around. She was close with the Lord and always had love in her heart.
I know she is in Heaven now. I know that she is no longer in pain and free of suffering. I'm going to miss her.
These past few days have just been a blur. At times it doesn't seem real. Like any minute I expect to wake up so we can celebrate Christmas together. Other times the cold reality sets in and I start losing it all over again.
Any time you have the opportunity to tell someone that you love them, make sure that you do.
